RESEARCH
主たる研究分野は視覚科学。時空間情報処理、特に時空間的に不安定な視覚信号からどのように安定的な視知覚が生じるのかについて心理物理学的手法や脳機能イメージングを用いて調べている。研究テーマのキーワードは時空間知覚、眼球運動、運動視、４次元知覚、周辺視、眼科学、触覚情報学、MRI、ヒューマンインターフェースなど。

I am a lecturer in Research Institute of Time Studies at Yamaguchi University, Japan. My research focuses on human visual system. I am interested in how daily stable perception can result from discrete and unstable sensory input and brain. Especially, I am interested in time perception, space perception, motion perception, peripheral vision and eye movements. To investigate these topics, I mainly use psychophysical approach.
