山口大学工学部講師・助教授、千葉大学文学部助教授・准教授を経て，現職．

RESEARCH
時空間に関する人間の知覚認知や感性の特性について，実験心理学的手法に基づく研究を行なっている．人間にとって直接的に触れることのできる時空間の特性を理解することと，時空間に関わる人間の知覚認知能力の可能性や限界，制約について見極めることを現在の研究の目的としている．

He is researching properties of human perception, cognition, and aesthetics concerning with spatio-temporal factors by the use of methodologies in experimental psychology. His current research interests are to understand the properties of space and time, which are directly experienced by human observers, and to investigate possibilities, limitations and constraints in development of human ability in perception and cognition for spatio-temporal dimensions.
